The workshop that allows you to start with nothing, and come out with a functioning Social Networking Multi-tasking Engine. You'll get to build your blog, create a custom template for it, connect it to multiple online networking sites, and then learn to write good blog posts and profile introductions. That's right, you leave with a fully functioning blog website!

This is an all-day, hands on workshop, where you don't just HEAR how to do it, you actually get to do it!

You will participate in four sessions:

  • Good Marketing, Bad Marketing - Things that don't work, and things that do, and WHY! What "Internet Marketing" really means, and why 99% of the instructions you read online aren't going to help you. You'll learn what WILL work, for YOUR business, and how to create an effective marketing plan to grow your business doing things you can afford to do.
  • Build Your Blog - Set up a WordPress Blog and learn how to make it work right. (You can choose a domain name and use the blog you create - free hosting is provided. If you have a WordPress blog, but don't know how to use it, you can skip the setup part.)
  • Social Networking MultiTasking - Connect your blog to your FaceBook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social networking accounts. Learn what makes social networking WORK for business, and how to maintain a presence in many places at once by doing one thing, and having it go everywhere for you. We'll take you through this so you leave with your MultiTasking Engine already functioning!
  • Write for the Web - What to put on your blog, how to make it effective, and how to write good copy for profiles and web pages. Unleash the power of writing, and learn how to use your own style as your best tool.

We'll even serve Lunch. The day starts with check-in and donuts. You can hang around getting to know us and your fellow attendees. We'll break in the middle of the day for a deli lunch.

The classroom will be staffed by additional professionals who will be able to give personal assistance to our attendees as needed. You'll be able to work through the tasks even if you need a little extra help.
